Photography!

Well I just found out yesterday that I may not have a place to live, because of lots of possible reasons, but on a good note, I can have my bridal's taken at Thanksgiving Point Gardens! Even though they'll be closed! Yay for connections! And I'm getting a super discount, which I'm super happy about that! So even though I don't have pictures of me there yet, here are some beautiful shots of Natalie. It'll give you a taste of how beautiful it will be since they were taken around the same time, last year. :)

I love this picture with the...I don't even know what you would call this. Gazebo? But in some ways it makes me think of the new Pride and Prejudice. :)

I love this next one too! Just the arbors and the look of it. I think it will look so beautiful with my dress!

I love the colors by the bridge!! Just beautiful. Fall can be so beautiful!

Aren't those just beautiful?! It makes me all sorts of excited. And I'm actually finding these fall colors SO beautiful. Who would have ever thought I'd look forward to a fall/winter wedding?

Oh, and we're taking our engagement photo's on Thursday, so any idea's and suggestions on what colors look good and stuff like that will be great. We're just having his brother Eric take the pictures, but he's actually pretty good. So we'll see what happens there!

And awkward announcement to the world, I started today! I'm early! Which means I've moved up at least a week, which also means but I may be safe on January 2nd, because that would have been bad. See how Heavenly Father takes care of us?! The power of prayer. :)

Considering the disaster I am in the kitchen...

So I've decided that I really need to learn how to cook and I'm going to start storing up recipes that I think sound good, and possibly even trying them out! Scary! So, if you know good cooking sites or have recipes you think I might like, please let me know!

Thank you!

I'm Engaged!

Well, it's official. I've been "unofficially" engaged for a while, meaning I have a dress (that I'm still paying for...but I found one!), and we had a date, and my mom has madly been going along and planning for me. Thank goodness for veto power! But she's been super helpful, and I'm glad that she's so great at planning otherwise between Scott and I, I'm not sure anything would get done. :) No pictures of the actual event with this one, they're all on the Sackett's camera, but as soon as I can I'll get those up I will! We actually have a video, so that'll be fun to share. Although I probably look awful!

We'd had plans to go to Scott's families FHE for annual pumpkin carving, so I was all excited because I love the gutting of pumpkins. I think the really gross gooey stuff is awesome. So I called that job when we got there. As we're carving, aparantly he'd wrapped the ring in saran wrap and they'd cut out the bottom and put it in there. Of course, I'm me. I'm engrosesd in the gross gooey stuff and pull the ring out 2-3 times without even noticing it's there. So, Scott keeps putting it back in, which I amazingly also don't notice. Do I get points for being observant or what? Finally, when the pumpkin is all cleaned out, Scott puts it in so I actually notice, seeing wrapped round things are not normally found in pumpkins. I'm at least observant to things that are right in front of my face! I unwrapped it while Scott got down on one knee, while his dad was videotaping (I thought he was just taking picutres, but having it on tape is actually pretty fun), and asked if I would marry him. I think my reply was more of a "uh huh" than an actual "yes" but that still counts, right? So, it's official! I have a beautiful ring and I'm super super happy!

I'm a Blogger!

Well I haven't written here for quite a while, I'll try and do better especially since now I'm starting to have events to update people on!

I spent last week (9th-12th) in Florida to go to the Endowment of one of my RC's (recent converts) in Florida. I was very pleasantly suprised when I learned that we had 3 free tickets to a Cirque de Soliel at Downtown Disney in Orlando the day before. So this is my picutre at La Nouba! It was amazing. If any of you get an oppertunity to go see a Cirque de Soliel, do it. Weird music and costumes, hehe, but fantastic. I was blown away. And my friends who went with me (Stacey and Heather) who are deaf didn't even need the music to enjoy!

This is Stacey, who I was able to go to the Temple with. It was so wonderful to see her again! She's amazing!! (And Orlando was beautiful!)

And here is one of the best pictures of me and Scott! I'm sure he would totally appreciate that this is the picture I chose to put up, but I think it protrays us well. :) Just putting it up because Scott is one of the best and craziest things happening right now. We're not "offically" engaged, because he hasn't flat out said "Will you marry me?" and I haven't said "Yes." But we've already started planning everything, and will be getting married January 2nd, 2009 at the Mount Timp Temple. :) Yay!
